Simplest Achaari Curry

وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ وَمَا تُقَدِّمُواْ لأَنفُسِكُم مِّنْ خَيْرٍ تَجِدُوهُ عِندَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

Simplest Achaari Curry

To cook Achaari curries, you need pickles OR the Achari masalas sold in markets.

Best pickles are those which are low in salt & they are made with Olive Oil & Vinegar.

And to Achari curry as simple as possible, we just tried with onions.

Cut the onions as RINGS, add some green pepper & dried garlic, with a teaspoon of Mustard seeds (Khardal) & spices of your choice, fry gently at low heat, & you just have to use the blessed olive Oil, all other oils are invalid for cooking.

When the onions were partially tendered, I added 3 tablespoons of my Turnip pickle made in Vinaigrette (Olive Oil & Pomegranate Vinegar), onions were heated once again for 5 minutes.

Being the simplest, this Achaari curry was so delicious.
